Maintenance Manager

Responsible for all activities regarding the preventative and corrective maintenance of all building, manufacturing, processing and ancillary equipment.

• Direct the maintenance and repair on all molding machines and related equipment including robots;
• Direct the maintenance and repair on all clean rooms;
• Direct the maintenance and repair on all curing related equipment;
• Implement and maintain records related to preventative, general and corrective maintenance in all areas of responsibility;
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment;
• Organize and maintain a clean maintenance shop;
• Machine cleaning where required by production related activities;
• Assist Molding Manager/ Supervisors with plant startup;
• Maintain close working relationship with Molding manager and supervisors to efficiently schedule preventative maintenance around the production schedule;
• Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), clean room, and International Organization for Standardization (ISO) procedures;
• Strict compliance to safety rules and procedures while on premises;
• Repair breakdown of equipment, machinery, and infrastructure;
• Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
• Install and commission new machinery;
• Repair and Maintenance of Ovens, Assembly Fixtures, Packaging Fixtures & Equipment.
• Repair and Maintenance of Building Equipment, Compressors, Chillers and transformers.
• Ability to quickly isolate and solve machinery and equipment problems; and
• Create and maintain accurate records and paperwork for service history.

Permanent

CAD 97,000.00 to CAD  per annum based on a 40 hour work week. Eligibility for annual salary review based on company’s performance and performance based bonus.

College Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Manager in a plastics plant;
• Demonstrated understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical and control systems;
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing equipment and related processes;
• Comprehension of robotic systems and automation;
• Possesses strong mechanical knowledge of all plastic molding equipment;
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and expedite repair;
• Knowledge of GMP, Clean room, and ISO procedures;
• Strong command and ability to communicate in industry technical terms;
• Good leadership skills
• Ability to work in a team environment effectively;
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision;
• Ability to carry out tasks on a timely basis;
• Linear and logical problem-solving abilities;
