LGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking for Class 1 drivers to start work as soon as possible for a Chesterfield based Chesterfield. This role is trunking and ongoing! Your main role will be to deliver palletised products in a curtain sided vehicle; you will be making an average of 1-3 drops within a day. Please make sure that you are okay with customer service as there will be a high level of interaction and have experience with curtains due to the nature of the role.

Hourly Rate:
Your rate of pay will be £16.50ph PAYE with 28 days of holiday pro rata. Please note that we do not accept max 20 visas or sponsor ships

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday role with start times usually being 06:00, averaging 10hrs a day.

Closing Date:

• Have a full UK Drivers Licence with a C+E entitlement.
• Have a minimum of 12 months continuous experience driving articulated lorries in the UK
• Have no more than 6 points on your Licence
• Have a strong and coherent understanding of driver’s working hours and working time directive.
• Have a Digital Tacho Card (Digi card)
• Have a valid Driver CPC Card
