We are supporting a leading manufacturing factory near Pinxton, Nottinghamshire with the recruitment of a temp to perm trainee production planner. This is a pivotal role within the company and they require someone to come in at an elementary level and learn about their business. The client can offer ongoing training and development and has a healthy order book and has expanded their facility by over 25% in recent years.

Monday to Friday during training; 8:30am – 5:00pm. These hours will change to 10:00am – 6:30pm once fully trained due to location and commuting requirements (own transport is required).

• Providing administration support to the production planner and the purchasing team
• Maintaining bills of materials
• Co-ordinating daily production operations
• Internal liaison with various departments within the company
• Assisting with production schedules
• Excel and data imports

• Excellent at retaining information and recording accurate data
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Excellent attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
• Good exam grades in English and Mathematics
• Own transport due to working hours and location
