Project Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

W Talent are now working exclusively with a large manufacturing business located in Pinxton, Nottingham, who are looking to recruit a Project Engineer to support a growing and varied project workload. This is an excellent opportunity for a progressive Project Engineer to join a stable and well-established organisation with long-term progression opportunities.

• Work with and alongside senior stakeholders on multiple concurrent engineering projects.
• Support projects from feasibility stage or post-feasibility through to completion.
• Provide mechanical engineering expertise, including technical support, recommendations, and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
• Play a key role in the design and layout phase of projects.
• Produce and clearly communicate 2D technical drawings to be used throughout the project process.
• Ensure projects are delivered with a high level of attention to detail.
• Actively engage with stakeholders, contributing ideas, and confidently sharing opinions to drive project success.

• To be successful in this role, you will live within a 30-minute commutable distance of Pinxton, Nottingham and will ideally have:
• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Project Management.
• Proven experience working in a Project Engineer or similar engineering role.
• The ability to produce and interpret 2D technical drawings.
• Confidence in your delivery style, with strong communication skills.
• A proactive approach and willingness to get involved at all stages of a project.
• High attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
• My client will consider candidates with 5+ years' experience, as well as those seeking a step back from a more senior role for stability and a better work-life balance closer to home. There may also be opportunities for future training and development, particularly for a more junior candidate with the right foundations.
