Job Description:

Valmet is looking for an Expert On-line to join our team in Bologna on a 1-year temporary contract. The role involves promptly receiving customer requests related to machinery issues, verifying, and resolving problems remotely. After on-the-job training, the role works independently to complete assigned tasks.

Key responsibilities:

Collect customer requests related to issues to be resolved

Provide remote assistance and customer support to resolve issues

Supervise and update software and working parameters

Update online machinery software

Develop and propose services, transforming customer requests into performance improvements

Maintain proactive service on installed machinery

Requirements:

Degree in Automation Engineering or Informatics At least 1 year of experience as a programmer or software designer

Fluent in English and Italian;
Spanish is a plus Knowledge of Siemens Step 7, Tia Portal, Motion, Sinamics, HMI WinCC, Data network transmission:
Profibus, Profinet Willing to travel up to 25%
Available for shift work and on-call duties
