Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Schedule:

3x12 shifts per week

• Must have travel nursing experience - no exceptions

• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency room experience required

• Required certifications: BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS - no exceptions

• No block scheduling allowed

• Patient ratios: 4 patients plus 1 midshift nurse from noon to midnight

• 4 weekend days per month required unless contract is specifically for weekends

• One pre-approved time off allowed

• 36 hours of orientation provided

• Care for patients of all ages: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Daily census of 50 patients in 12-bed emergency department

Skills required:

general emergency department care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, IV start and maintenance, emergency medications, CVA care, and triage

• May be required to float to different units

• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, radiology, social services, and pharmacy

• License in hand or compact required at submission

• 2 references required
