  • Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Days - 7A-7P

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a Mental Health Technician to provide exceptional care for our patients in our Parkview Geriatric Wellness Department. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

The nursing team at Citizens Memorial Hospital— Parkview Geriatric Wellness Unit strive to SERVE in the care we provide to patients, families and each other.

A typical day includes

Performing patient care duties under the direction of licensed nursing personnel, utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to the ages of the patients served including adult and geriatric patient populations.

  • Assisting with or performs patient activities of daily living, encouraging independent functioning when appropriate.
  • Assisting patient comfort measures are met performing frequent rounds on patients and anticipating patient needs.
  • Assisting with individual and group activities.
Job Requirements
  • Education:

    HS diploma
  • Experience:

    No experience needed. We provide on the job training! It is a plus if you are certified as a nurse assistant.
  • Skills:

    Good Communication Skills, Patience, Attention to detail, Flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills, Willing to learn and be a valuable person for the department.
  • Licensure/Certification:

    N/A
  • Physical: ability to work at a fast pace with about 90% of the day consists of walking.

The position is Full Time, days.
