Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MOis hiring a certified Physical Therapy Assistant to join their team providing services to residentsat

Parkview Health Care Facility. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department:The Rehab Services Department works topromote the restoration of the functional abilities of individuals with physical, cognitive, sensorimotor, and / or perceptual impairment and communication impairment by the use of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and / or speech language therapy treatments.

A typical dayincludes:Assisting therapists to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient therapy treatments utilizing appropriate procedures, equipment,and supplies to achieve intended outcomes.

• Following plans of care provided by therapists and monitors and reports progress frequently
• Communicating with patients and caregivers to provide clear directionson the use of rehabilitativedevices and equipment
• Documenting patient care services with relevant and timely information
• Preparing and maintainingwork spaces and equipment

This position isfull-time, Mon - Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Job Requirements:

• Education:
  
  Completion of aPhysical Therapy Assistant program with an Associate'sDegree from an accredited institution
• Experience:
  
  New graduates welcome; 1year of experience preferred
• Skills:
  
  Patient care, problem-solving, customer service, and listening skills
• Licensure/Certification:
  
  Current Missouri Physical Therapy Assistant Certificate
• Physical:
  
  Prolonged periods of standing and walking, ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. with patient and/or equipment assistance, ability to carry up to 35 lbs.
