Program Technician

Overview

The Family Support Division (FSD) is seeking applications for Benefit Program Technicians. These positions will be located in the Polk County Resource Center located at 2110 South Springfield Building 1, Bolivar, MO.

• Determine initial and continuing eligibility for Missouri citizens for food, medical, financial and nutritional assistance so they can live safe, healthy and productive lives.
• Interview clients in person and by telephone; prepare summaries and related documentation.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Qualifying experience as described below may substitute year-for-year for deficiencies in the required education.
• Four or more years of experience in roles requiring extensive customer interaction including working with, or management of, business or employee financial records, sales, marketing, management, direct consumer or public contact, and/or customer service functions; and possession of a high school diploma or GED.
• To thrive in this role, you must be personable, compassionate and have a non-judgmental attitude.
• Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
• Individual(s) selected for this position may receive a higher rate based on a pay differential (e.g. shift, or time-of-service pay).
