Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift
Ryder System, Inc. is hiring Reach Truck Forklift Operators for the first shift at our Bolingbrook, Illinois facility.
Position DescriptionWe need a reliable Warehouse Forklift Operator to perform critical warehouse operations and support our distribution network.
Job Details- Location:
Bolingbrook, IL (60440) - Pay: $20.00 per hour
- Schedule:
First Shift Monday – Friday 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. - Employment Type:
Regular Full‑time - Travel Requirements: 0–10%
- Weekly pay with on‑job paid training

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year or more warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
- Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Team player with ability to work in a diverse work environment.
- Highly thorough and dependable.
- Punctual with a good attendance record.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Commitment to health and safety methods.
- Available for flexible schedule across shift rotations.
- Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
- Capable of performing work with minimal supervision and high accuracy, even under pressure.
- Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, loading, and unloading of trucks.
- Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shift hours.
- Adhere to performance measurement guidelines set by the contract.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
