Outbound Wave Clerk – Job Description

Ryder is immediately hiring for an Outbound Wave Clerk in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

• Hourly Pay $22.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday - Friday, First Shift 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Products Being Handled:
Engine and HVAC parts. Equipment: WMS and computer.

Warehouse Operators are supported with on‑the‑job paid training and comprehensive benefits.

• Assist in supporting standard facility key performance indicators (KPI) which consistently meet or exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation, and maintenance.
• Create and maintain daily dock schedules.
• Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses.
• Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the workload is being distributed properly and evenly by managing the WMS down to the floor.
• Work closely with the inventory department and on‑site personnel to resolve problems with the day’s orders.
• Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates.
• Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of warehouse experience.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel) and working knowledge of WMS systems.
• Forklift experience.
• Equipment certification may be required, depending on location.

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor‑vehicle records checks and a road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
