Position Description

Ryder is immediately hiring for Reach Truck Forklift Operators in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

Warehouse Forklift Operator / Driver Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Shipping, loading, picking, packaging, and forklift operation are key duties. The work environment is Safe and state‑of‑the‑art with equipment including stand‑up reach trucks, sit‑down forklifts, cherry/order pickers, and walk‑ie riders.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License, certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player with ability to work in a diverse environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance record
• High degree of initiative and accuracy even under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Work flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up

Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check; a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
