Forklift Operator 1st Shift

Ryder is immediately hiring for Reach Truck Forklift Operators in Bolingbrook, Illinois.

• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  First Shift Monday - Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shift hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License certifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
• Initiative and high level of accuracy, even under pressure.
• Capability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for long periods, and work using health and safety methods.
• Flexible schedule availability across various shifts.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
