Our client, a leading organization in facilities management and maintenance, is seeking a Commercial Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Commercial Maintenance Technician
, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence and facility integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong problem‑solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Commercial Maintenance Technician

Bolingbrook, Illinois

$30-$34/hr

• Maintain and repair building systems including lighting, HVAC, plumbing, and food equipment
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, pumps, and control networks
• Support maintenance of conveyors, sortation systems, and automation controls
• Document work performed and update work order statuses in real‑time using CMMS systems
• Participate in safety training and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and maintain food service and control network equipment
• Hands‑on electrical experience, including working with 480V 3‑phase, 110 VAC, and 24
  
  VDC systems
• Strong reasoning, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to lift at least 80 lbs., climb ladders, and work in adverse conditions
