Position: Home Solutions Design Consultant

This opportunity is with a growing home organization company serving residential clients across the Chicagoland area. They design and deliver custom storage solutions that combine function, style, and long-term quality.


Home Solutions Design Consultant Benefits and Compensation:

Base salary of $33,000 plus commission

Home Solutions Design Consultant

Requirements & Qualifications:

Proven sales experience; home improvement, cabinetry, or interior design experience is a plus

Strong communication and customer service skills

Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

Ability to manage multiple projects from consultation through close

Comfortable working in an outside, client-facing sales role

Valid driver’s license


Must haves:

Conduct in-home and virtual consultations to assess storage challenges and design goals

Present customized design solutions, materials, and finishes aligned with client needs and budgets

Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth execution and high customer satisfaction

Track leads, follow up consistently, and maintain accurate CRM records

Actively build and maintain a personal referral network through local outreach and community engagement

Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales goals


Home Solutions Design Consultant

Preferred Background & Skills:

Experience selling custom, design-driven, or home-related products

Confidence working directly with homeowners

Strong follow-through and relationship management skills

Comfort navigating longer, consultative sales cycles
