THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE

The Global Brand Manager drives profitable international wholesale growth by expanding into new markets, deepening distributor and retailer partnerships, and translating sales insights into optimized assortments and commercial plans. This role blends B2B sales leadership with cross‑functional execution across Marketing, Visual Merchandising, Planning/Inventory, Regulatory, IT, and Supply Chain to deliver sustainable brand growth. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, operational rigor, and leadership influence to elevate Ulta Beauty’s global presence.

YOU'LL

ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY Market Expansion & Sales Growth
  • Lead international wholesale expansion as the primary contact for Mexico, the Middle East, and emerging global markets; build and manage distributor/retailer relationships and B2B pipelines.
  • Own commercial planning by maintaining price lists, evaluating promotional offers, and ensuring digital readiness for international partners. This includes accurate product content, pricing, and promotional assets across distributor and retailer platforms to strengthen visibility and conversion.
  • Optimize assortment & merchandising by integrating new product innovation plans into transition strategies; educate partners on upcoming launches to ensure readiness and maximize adoption. Continuously update planograms and assortment strategies based on item performance, market fit, and productivity.
Operational Excellence & Cross‑Functional Partnership
  • Partner with Regulatory on product registrations by market; collaborate with IT on systems/process readiness for order flow and reporting.
  • Optimize end‑to‑end supply chain by reducing lead times, right‑sizing case packs, and implementing efficient pack‑out solutions to meet market demand and protect margins.
  • Partner with Visual Merchandising to elevate and localize assets; work with Marketing to drive awareness and trial; align with Planning/Inventory to fulfill demand and deliver the sales plan.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead special projects related to new market entry, digital enablement, or strategic partnerships as assigned.
  • Support executive reporting and strategic planning with insights from international business development activities.
  • Partner with Product Development or Visual Merchandising to test new items and merchandising strategies, measure results, and scale learnings to the core business.
  • Champion change and continuous improvement in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, commercial leadership, or international wholesale (beauty or consumer goods preferred) with proven track record of delivering against sales, profitability, and market expansion KPIs
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels, with or without direct authority
  • Located in greater Chicago area

The pay range for this position is $88,200.00 - $ / Year with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan.
