Position: Full‑Time
General Function: The Store Manager leads the store, delivering KPIs, ensuring flawless customer experience, recruiting and training associates, coaching departments, and linking doctor and retail functions.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Convey a commitment to great customer service and ensure the team follows the Simple Sales Process.
- Provide effective on‑the‑job training and guidance using company programs.
- Deliver clear, motivating feedback timely to all retail associates.
- Confront and discipline underperformers in a timely manner.
- Conduct meaningful conversations during required times to elevate associate satisfaction, performance, and results.
- Drive profitable personal sales, modeling a retail selling culture.
- Analyze store financial data and recommend actions to improve profitability.
- Exceed all targets set.
- Deliver key performance indicators by inspiring the team to exceed expectations through NPS and Google ratings.
- Execute staffing onboarding per guidelines.
- Perform administrative duties including payroll, inventory management, technical application, and paperwork.
- Lead Doctor of Optometry partnership and co‑planning.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding loss prevention.
- Prepare and execute physical inventory per guidelines.
- Use the Inventory Management System and Order tracker as part of global POS.
- Maintain all company‑approved safety programs consistently.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 3+ years as an optical associate or non‑optical retail manager.
- Comprehensive knowledge of operations, processes, and business implications.
- Strong influencing, negotiating, team building, and management skills.
- Strong communicator and listener.
- Strong basic math skills.
- Sales skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems, computers, and calculators.
- Organization skills.
- Knowledge of current store merchandise.
- High level of business acumen.
- College degree or equivalent.
- State licensure (if applicable) or ABO Certification in non‑licensed states.
- Experience in customer service and retail.
Pay Range: $29.35 – $50.80 per hour. Competitive bonus and commission plan may apply.
