Finishing Department – Collation 1st Shift (Mon‑Fri 5:30 am‑1:30 pm)
The Finishing Department takes printed panels and turns them into individual cards. Collation Operators run machines that join the front and back plastic sheets of a card and add materials like tap‑to‑pay antennas or magnetic stripes, requiring attention to detail and focus on quality as you prepare materials for lamination. Operators run machines such as Oasys, Kurz, Burkle, Muhlbauer, Spartanics. This step requires precision, ensuring that the layers in sheets of cards are aligned properly so that the finished card will function properly.
This is a fast‑paced area where consistency and attention to detail are essential as products transition to the next stage of production. This role requires the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues such as changing electrical pins and suction cups within the machine.
