Ryder is immediately hiring Reach Truck Forklift Operators in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Pay and Schedule- Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
- Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working 2nd shift
- Schedule:
Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm (Second shift)
- Stand‑up Reach Truck
- Sit‑down forklift
- Cherry/order picker
- Walkie rider
- Warehouse positions paid weekly

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- One (1) year or more related warehouse/powered‑industrial‑truck experience (preferred)
- Valid Forklift Operator’s License (certified)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organization levels (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
- Highly thorough and dependable; punctual with good attendance
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Shows high initiative and accuracy under pressure
- Can lift or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
- Complies with health and safety procedures
- Available for flexible scheduling across various shifts
- Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
Important Note: Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor‑vehicle record checks; road tests; and/or background checks or badging requirements from the customer.
Responsibilities- Complete warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
- Perform duties within performance‑measurement guidelines of the contract
- Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
- Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
- Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shifts
- Complete other duties as assigned
