Your Impact as Executive Center Director

You’ll serve as both educational leader and business operator
, ensuring premium quality across every touchpoint: classroom excellence, teacher development, family engagement, enrollment momentum, and strong financial performance.

Key Responsibilities – People & Culture
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop high-performing educators who embody premium service standards
  • Foster a professional, respectful, inclusive culture through monthly team meetings, ongoing coaching, and performance feedback
  • Success looks like: Annual staff turnover consistently below 40% (we provide training budgets, owner support, and tools to make this achievable and sustainable)
Enrollment & Family Experience
  • Deliver luxury-level tours and enrollment experiences that convert leads into long‑term families
  • Execute targeted marketing, community outreach, and social media strategies to drive enrollment goals
  • Build trust‑based relationships with families through proactive communication and satisfaction focus
  • Success looks like: Strong lead‑to‑start conversion, high retention rates, and positive online reviews
Financial & Operational Excellence
  • Manage budgets, revenue targets, accurate billing/tuition collection, and smart efficiencies
  • Leverage TLE systems for consistency and streamlined operations
  • Success looks like: Meeting/exceeding profitability goals while preserving the premium experience
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Maintain full compliance with Illinois DCFS licensing, health, and safety regulations
  • Ensure immaculate, secure, and supervision‑ready facilities at all times
  • Success looks like: Zero major citations and flawless record‑keeping
Qualifications – Required
  • Illinois Director Credential (or immediate ability to obtain) + ability to pass all DCFS/background checks
  • Minimum 1 year of child care center leadership or people management experience (2+ years strongly preferred)
  • Proven track record driving enrollment growth, family retention, and high‑performing team development
  • Strong salesmanship in a premium‑service environment and ability to hold staff accountable professionally
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Business, or related field
  • Solid understanding of early childhood best practices and Illinois licensing regulations
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and conflict‑resolution skills
  • Results‑driven mindset balancing educational quality with business performance
