Patient Access Representative - Bolingbrook, IL (Part-time, 20 hours per week) Description
Hourly Pay Range: $19.89 - $28.84 – the hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise, years of experience, and other factors.
Location & ScheduleLocation:
Bolingbrook, IL. Part‑time: 20 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 1:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Rotating weekends may be required; flexible for 7:00 am‑2:00 pm. Holidays:

- High School diploma or GED (Associate degree in business or healthcare preferred).
- Valid driver’s license; CVL coverage if using personal vehicle for off‑site duties.
- Minimum 1–2 years of registration, scheduling, patient accounts, cash collections or customer service experience in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of health insurance, medical terminology, anatomy.
- Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
- Bilingual skills (preferred).
- Under general supervision, provide in‑patient, out‑patient, emergency room, immediate care and same‑day surgery patients timely, accurate pre‑registrations, registrations, order management, charge capture, cash collection, and medical information system functions.
- Collect, analyze, and record demographic, insurance/financial, and clinical data from multiple sources and obtain signatures necessary for processes.
- Screen for third‑party eligibility and enter medical necessity coding to ensure accurate payment.
- Interact customer‑focused, educating patients and families on revenue‑cycle expectations and resolving personal liabilities through payment options.
