Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a supportive school community for the 2025–2026 school year in Bolingbrook, IL.

Schedule: Full-Time, In-Person
Start Date: ASAP
Setting: Multiple positions available;
Elementary School, Middle School, and High School
Location: Bolingbrook, IL with Valley View School District
Licensure

Required:

Illinois PEL with LBS1 Endorsement (must be active at time of submission)

• Provide small group and individual instruction
• Implement IEPs and track student progress
• Attend IEP and staff meetings
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation

• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement
• Passion for inclusive, student-centered instruction
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in a resource room setting preferred, but not required—new graduates are welcome and will be supported with mentoring
