Job Overview

The primary objective of the Shop Technician is to service and maintain the company's equipment and vehicles, ensuring we have the appropriate inventory to meet our customers' needs. They will also take care of any customer dropping off or picking up equipment at the branch by providing the industry's best customer service.

Pay Rate

$22.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience.

Essential Duties
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with all PPE requirements.
  • Maintain equipment to manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Keep all decals and warning labels legible.
  • Maintain sufficient rental equipment daily.
  • Service and record maintenance logs for all equipment.
  • Organize the yard daily.
  • Order inventory as needed.
  • Fill paperwork for customer drop-offs and pickups.
  • Daily paperwork and report maintenance.
  • Prioritize projects with Manager each morning.
  • Delegate shop tasks and keep shop busy.
  • Keep shop and yard clean daily.
  • Store rental equipment in designated area.
  • Assist drivers with loading/unloading.
  • Use forklift only for loading/unloading; fill daily service report.
  • Load and unload all customers promptly and check for customers.
  • Assist in all departments as needed.
  • Turn in all paperwork to Dispatcher daily.
  • Keep branch radio on in yard for dispatch.
  • Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School Education.
  • Minimum of two years related experience or training or equivalent combination.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and evaluative skills.
  • Expect a 45+ hour work week; hours may vary based on workload and travel.
Additional Information

Valid state driver’s license required.
