Overview
Knife River Idaho is looking for a motivated and experienced Welder/Fabricator for our Idaho division. We are a PEOPLE-first company committed to providing tools, training, and time to work productively and safely.

Job ResponsibilitiesThis position requires you to work both independently and as part of a team. Travel may be required, and you should expect to work in extreme weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications- Must have 2+ years minimum of fabrication and millwright skills
- Must be certified in vertical, horizontal, and overhead welding
- Confined space training and forklift certification is a plus
- Requires walking, bending, squatting, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Requires use of hands for grasping and fine manipulations
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
- Head movement/rotation in multiple directions
- Wear company-issued Personal Protective Equipment
- Exposure to dust, fumes, and gases
- Exposure to outside working conditions including cold or hot temperatures
