* Properly correct and document changes to station drawings
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships

* Apply established guidelines and use good judgment and initiative in resolving work problems
* Vocational degree in a mechanical, electronics, or industrial construction discipline
* An equivalent combination of education, work experience, related formal apprenticeship training, or military training
* Currently employed as an Idaho Power Pre-Apprentice Stations Technician
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position
* Valid Department of Transportation (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). card or the ability to obtain one prior to hire
* Valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain prior to hire
* Must obtain First Aid/CPR card within 90 days of hire
* Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record based on driving requirements for the position

* Valid Class A CDL or the ability to obtain prior to hire
* Must obtain First Aid/CPR card within 90 days of hire
** PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
** This position requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop squat, crouch, climb ladders, twist, kneel, balance and reach, and rarely crawl; occasionally lift above-shoulder items weighing up to 50 lbs., and waist-high and knee-high items weighing up to 75 lbs.; occasionally push or pull items using force of up to 50 lbs. and rarely up to 125 lbs.; occasionally carry with one hand items weighing up to 50 lbs.
or two hands items weighing up to 75 lbs. Occasionally use fine and gross hand manipulation when working with tools or equipment; occasionally use foot controls when driving. Job frequently requires working outdoors in adverse weather conditions and occasionally in confined spaces. Applicant must perform the essential functions of the position without posing a direct threat of harm to self, others, or property.
