Position: Pipefitter
Location: Boise, Idaho, United States
Pay: $28-$32 per hour (DOE)
Hours: 45-55 hours per week, including some Saturdays
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team in Boise. The Pipefitter will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems in industrial and commercial settings. This role requires hands-on expertise with various piping materials, the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive in problem-solving, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial and commercial settings
- Read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Cut, thread, and assemble pipe materials with precision
- Ensure all installations comply with OSHA and company safety standards
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of piping systems
- Work with a variety of materials, including metal, PVC, and copper
- Proven experience as a Pipefitter or in a related role
- Strong knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, tools, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Current OSHA certification and adherence to all safety regulations
- Pipe fitting or related trade certification is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and flexibility with schedule
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
