Heavy Equipment Operator, Construction Labor / Trades
Seeking an ambitious, hard‑working, experienced excavator Operator to join our Treasure Valley team. Experience operating all sizes of excavators from mini to 700‑sized excavators, safely.
Must be willing to work other miscellaneous duties as directed by the supervisor. This person must be willing to carry out company policies and values while thriving in a team setting.
Project Overview:
Constructing a new lift station and splitter box, which entails digging two large excavations 35‑plus feet deep inside a sheet pile cell.
- Starting pay is $30 - 38 an hour, Depending on demonstrated abilities
- Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of full‑time employment.
- 401K plan available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of full‑time employment. IMCO offers 100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee’s eligible wages.

- Work with ground personnel in the excavation and backfill of the pipe online and grade
- Ensure the trench is excavated to the proper depth/grade as needed
- Ensure safe work procedures are followed with careful attention to operations near ground personnel and equipment
- Understanding of soil types
- Daily work plans, reports, and timecards
- Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective local, state, or company security operations for the protection of people and property.
- Project Location – Treasure Valley
- 8–10‑hour shifts
- Overtimemay be available
- Evening/weekend work may be necessary to meet milestones
- Current and valid driver’s license
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Experience and backfill around existing utilities with precision
- Experience pothole procedure, pipeline, and grade compaction
- Experience and utilize knowledge of safe excavation, trenching, and shoring practices
- Experience proper rigging for all materials being lowered into the trench
- Pre‑employment drug testing is required
- Criminal background check required
- Adhere to all safety requirements
- Commitment to teamwork, safe work practices, and integrity
