Position: Solutions Specialist - Bound Tree Medical - North Western, US

Overview

Responsibilities

This is an outside sales opportunity covering the North Western portion of the United States. The ideal candidate will live near a major airport.

Summary

In collaboration with the Account Manager, the Solutions Specialist is responsible for calling on public and private EMS agencies, fire departments, and other pre‑hospital and health‑related organizations and personnel within an assigned territory. The role maximizes customer value by integrating Bound Tree’s suite of services and solutions that solve real‑world challenges and allow customers to operate more profitably and efficiently. The specialist uncovers pain points, pairs solutions, provides demonstrations, and articulates cost‑benefit analysis to decision makers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales or installation targets.
  • Develop proposals and conduct sales presentations for prospective customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Sales, Product Management, and Service Providers to formulate qualified targets, compile a compelling value proposition, and deliver on promises.
  • Manage multiple and sometimes complex sales cycles.
  • Manage and coordinate sales activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including scheduling appointments, creating, entering, and staging opportunities, and actively managing a sales funnel.
  • Analyze internal reporting to determine customer opportunities, volume potential, and time and territory development.
  • Develop sales campaigns to promote the company’s goals.
  • Represent Bound Tree Medical at trade shows, conferences, and association meetings to promote the brand.
Skills/Experience Required
  • A minimum of 3 years successful solutions selling with documented annual achievement, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels and with vendors and manufacturers.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present information and respond to questions from small and large groups.
  • Excellent presentation and customer‑relations skills.
  • Strong ability to educate, influence, and tell stories.
  • Strong financial acumen and effective time‑management and organizational skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret professional journals, whitepapers, customer protocols, municipality or private service bid documents, and governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedure manuals, and submit expense reports.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, revenue, GP$, and GM% and interpret related customer data reports.
