Hospice Sales Consultant / Care Navigator

Location: Boise,  surrounding areas.

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospice Sales Consultant / Care Navigator to drive sales and develop relationships with key accounts, generating referrals and growing our hospice office's client base.

Responsibilities
  • Drive sales and develop relationships with key accounts, generating referrals and growing the agency's client base.
  • Coordinate referrals and communicate timely with the intake/office team.
  • Proactively follow up on new account leads.
  • Provide counsel to the agency regarding community needs; program development including personnel and financial needs.
  • Collaboratively develop and maintain policies specific to new programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws relating to marketing of the agency.
  • Assist in program direction through collaboration with administrative and supervisory personnel.
  • Establish public relations program to foster good working relations with physicians and community agencies.
  • Build and nurture value-based relationships within key accounts.
  • Generate referrals from physicians, discharge planners, social workers, case managers, SNFs, and other healthcare settings/professionals.
  • Develop a workable sales plan, identifying key account targets and associated tactics to execute each week.
  • Utilize market intel data and available tools to aid in growth.
  • Attend community, networking and social events and gatherings.
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited college/university as LPN/LVN, RN, Registered Nurse, Therapist (PT, OT, SLP), or Social Worker (BSW, MSW, etc.). Preferred but not required.
  • Previous post-acute healthcare sales experience preferred, especially in SNFs, DME, ortho, and cardiac. Hospice sales highly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, selling, and problem-solving skills; ability to articulate service capabilities to the targeted audience.
  • Go-getter attitude, outgoing and driven.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel locally within the assigned territory daily and attend sales meetings as required.
  • Flexible schedule availability.

  • Works under a variety of conditions in facilities and offices.
  • Some exposure to unpleasant weather.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and courteously.
