Overview
TEGNA’s KTVB 7, the NBC Affiliate in Boise, , is seeking a temporary Account Manager to join our sales team. This role is focused on booking orders and managing day-to-day campaign details, while maintaining clear communication with the sales team, clients, and strategic partners to support campaign performance delivery. This is a Sales support role reporting to the Local Sales Manager.
Responsibilities- Digital and/or broadcast order entry with a high level of accuracy; attention to detail is essential.
- Request, update and monitor digital/broadcast creative scheduling.
- Participate in campaign execution and creative asset tracking for all advertising.
- Manage the startup process for digital/broadcast campaigns with active onboarding calls as needed.
- Monitor campaigns to ensure campaign delivery.
- Attend Sales meetings and training to obtain sales, product, and process information.
- Manage and communicate campaign/order issues to management and team.
- Work as a liaison with 3rd party vendors/traffic team.
- Other duties as assigned by sales managers.
- Minimum 2 years of account engagement in a professional, fast-paced sales environment preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a deadline-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Familiar with broadcast and/or digital advertising solutions/metrics a plus.
- Multitasking skills and ability to adapt quickly to change.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient with WO Traffic and/or other broadcast/digital order systems.
- Proven track record of exceeding expectations.
