Overview

Overnight Retail Cashier role at Jacksons Food Stores. Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 an hour. This position involves delivering excellent customer service during late-night hours, processing transactions accurately, and keeping the store clean and organized.

897 S Cole Rd Boise, , . Must be available to work between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

• Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service.
• Apply discounts and promotions as applicable while following all company policies and laws related to restricted sales (alcohol, tobacco, etc.).
• Maintain a clean and organized store, inside and out.
• Stock and rotate shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
• Assist with additional store duties as needed.

• Flexible availability, including holidays and weekends (24/7 operation).

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, can-do attitude.
• Reliability, integrity, and a history of doing the right thing.
• A team player with a willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
• Prior retail or food service cashiering experience is a plus.
• Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
• Must meet legal age requirements to sell regulated products (alcohol and tobacco). NV Only – Must be of legal age to work around slot machines.

• Frequently stand, walk, bend, and twist; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk and listen.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally up to 65 pounds.
• Work in conditions that include heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals from gasoline and cleaning products.
