Merchandiser, Retail

Job Description

Responsible for pricing, setting, and managing merchandise at customer stores. Reports to the Merchandising Manager for the geographic area served. Drives to customer locations using a company vehicle, follows plan‑ograms to set displays, assesses customer sales, recommends replacements to increase sales and profits, and reports issues promptly.

• Pay: $17.00-$18.00 (depending on experience)
• Travel: within the Boise,
• Overnights required (hotel accommodations and per diem)
• Must have a clean 3‑year MVR, current valid drivers license and insurance

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Provide excellent customer service
• Perform merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and store cleaning at customer locations
• Arrange store shelves or display areas as required by each store
• Monitor potential account problems and report to Sales or Sales Manager as required
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintain assigned equipment
• Report hours via provided timesheets
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Able to work in a team and independently with minimum supervision
• Strong oral & written communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self‑motivated, self‑starter with strong attention to detail

• High School graduate or equivalent experience
• Driver’s license with clean driving record
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Excellent customer service skills
• Physical activity: lift products weighing 5-25 lbs; may lift a case up to 70 lbs
• Must pass background screening & drug testing
