Overview

The Cook is responsible for the preparation and service of breakfast and lunch meals for patients and facility staff according to the approved menu cycle and production sheets. Intermountain Hospital, located in Boise, has provided quality psychiatric and chemical dependency services since 1980. This 151-bed facility sits on 10 acres near the Sawtooth Mountains and is dedicated to a safe and compassionate approach to mental health and substance use treatment.

Education:

High School Diploma required.

Experience:

Two years experience in quantity cooking preferred, with a basic knowledge of modified diets and training in food service sanitation preferred. Experience utilizing industrial kitchen equipment and utensils.
