Infection Control and Clinical Support Educator - RN

Overview

We are searching for a Registered Nurse to support our Infection Control and Education of employees.

The Registered Nurse (RN) reports to the VP of Nursing and Population Health and is an important team member supporting the Clinical Support department, which is essential for achieving the dual mission of Full Circle Health. The RN shall be accountable for
1) providing outstanding care for all Full Circle Health employees/patients,
2) leading the infection prevention and control program, creating and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures,
3) supporting their colleagues and other licensed medical staff in the provision of care and
4) ensuring accurate and complete documentation with the employee/patient’s record. The RN works closely with varied medical professionals within our team based environment of care and collaborates with providers as well as team members from the Reception, Business Office, Referral Coordination, Care Management, Medical Records and Messaging Center departments.

Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm

• Provide outstanding care for all Full Circle Health employees and patients.
• Lead the infection prevention and control program, creating and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support colleagues and other licensed medical staff in the provision of care.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation within the employee/patient records.

• ADN or BSN from an accredited College of Nursing.

• Two years’ experience in clinical practice as an RN is preferred. Other direct patient care experience will be considered.
• Experience with infection control program implementation, maintenance and monitoring is preferred.

• Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Idaho, current BLS certification. Current ACLS certification is preferred.

• Meets established Credentials Committee requirements for RN scope of practice including fully credentialed, licensed and privileged as well as the ability to pass a background check.
