JOB OVERVIEW
- Clinical Shift
Schedule:
Full-time coverage averaging 40 hours per week; variable shifts rotating between 8, 10, and 12 hours - On-Call Shift
Schedule:
Required; one weekend call per month and two weeknight call shifts per month - Call Type:
Beeper and in-house as scheduled
- Start date:
July 6, 2026 - Preferred contract length: 6 months to 1 year with continuous coverage
- Patient Demographics:
Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics - Admissions:
Surgical and procedural cases as scheduled and emergent - Case Mix:
General surgery, orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, plastics, GI, interventional radiology, MRI, structural heart, and Level II trauma cases
- No. of Beds in Department: 378 hospital beds

Anesthesiology physician support - Support Staff Available:
Perioperative nursing staff and anesthesia care team - Reason for Coverage:

Comfortable in supervision-based anesthesia model with up to 4:1 ratio;
Epic experience preferred
- Provide anesthesia care for elective and emergent surgical cases
- Participate in scheduled shifts and required call coverage
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists and perioperative teams
- Deliver anesthesia services in accordance with supervision-based care model
- Document anesthesia care accurately and timely in the EMR
- Comply with hospital policies and credentialing requirements
