Job specification

• Serve as the primary circulator for surgical procedures, ensuring that all aspects of the surgery are coordinated effectively.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment and uphold surgical protocols and safety measures.
• Assess patient's needs and provide appropriate interventions throughout the surgical process.
• Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition during surgery, communicating effectively with the surgical team to address any concerns.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices within the surgical unit.

Candidate requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required; a Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Idaho.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience in an operating room or surgical setting, with at least 1 year in a circulator role.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required;
  Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is preferred.
• Certification in Operating Room Nursing (CNOR) is a plus.
