RN Trauma MedSurg - Nights

POSITION SUMMARY & HIGHLIGHTS

We are looking for a full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Trauma Med/Surg Unit in Boise. The unit is a 16‑bed step‐down unit that cares for a diverse patient population with varying medical and post‑surgical needs. It offers exposure to minor trauma cases and opportunities to grow into a Charge Nurse role.

Full time

12‑hour night shift (7‑to‑7).
Self‑schedule
: three 12‑hour shifts per week.

• This position is eligible for a sign‑on bonus and a relocation assistance package

The unit operates under the Together Care Team Model, including virtual RNs, bedside RNs, and CNAs, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that enhances patient care and professional growth.

• Provide professional nursing care in collaboration with the health‑care team in ongoing assessment, planning, and treatment of patients and families.
• Utilize resources wisely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
• Work and serve in a broad range of capacities, including delegation, assessment, planning of care and treatment, and teaching patients and families.

• Current RN license is required.
• Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
• At hire, BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required. ACLS and/or PALS may be accepted in lieu of BLS.
