Things You Should Know- Must have a Nursing Degree (ADN, BSN, MSN).
- An Idaho RN license (some units require secondary licensure in the state of Oregon).
- Multistate licenses must establish residency with the Idaho Board of Nursing within 60 days from hire.
- An active and unexpired Basic Life Support for Health Care Provider (BLS/HCP) certification from either AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network.
- Additional certification may be required depending on the unit.
Make sure your resume is up to date and thorough in describing any applicable experience and education - particularly your clinical rotations! Please include all non-medical jobs too! Anything that highlights customer service, multi-tasking, critical thinking, independent judgement, leadership, etc - all these things apply to nursing!
