Site Supervisor - Gen Gas

We have an immediate opening for a Site Supervisor / Plant Operator that is responsible for our Boise, Idaho, Onsite Facility. You will have primary responsibility for three cryogenic Air Separation Units as well as a liquid hydrogen system. Air Products pioneered the “on‑site” concept of producing and selling industrial gases in 1940. • Management of the site’s Basic Safety Process and Process Safety Management with a focus on the company’s efforts to drive to a goal of 0 injuries.
• Ensuring Environmental compliance in accordance with Air Products Corporate and Governmental Regulations.
• Understanding safe operating, design, and permit limits.
• Supporting all aspects of the day‑to‑day operations to include troubleshooting plant process problems, supervising daily plant activities, and managing plant projects.
• Identifying maintenance concerns; then developing and implementing corrective measures with the maintenance team as well as carrying out site preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity programs.
• Implementing and sharing best practices.
• Investigating incidents and near misses which includes understanding and correcting the root cause of failures.

• Strong operating experience in similar plants or operations of similar complexity with a talent for effectively identifying and troubleshooting problems.
• A track record of success in EH&S and Quality.
• A self‑starter with confirmed leadership abilities – Self‑led and highly motivated to plan and ensure the completed execution of all tasks required by our safety, environmental and engineering standards.
• The ability to understand the broader picture and consider the implications of decisions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong administrative/computer skills.

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 5+ years of relevant operations/maintenance experience in an industrial plant is preferred.
• A degree in a technical field is a plus but not required. Applicable experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

• Must be able to climb ladders and steps and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to meet call‑in requirements as needed.
• Some elevated work required.

• Flexible work schedules with the ability to work some days from home are available, but you will be expected to work on‑site at the plant as needed for plant support.
• Although this is a 24/7 on‑call role, most weeks will have regular working hours and there is backup support and rotation of on call responsibilities with another employee.
• This is a full‑time, direct hire, exempt salaried position with opportunities for career advancement and expanded leadership responsibilities.
