UP Cooler Operator – Night Shift

Darigold is seeking to fill a UP Cooler Operator position at our Boise facility. Upt cooler production workers must be motivated and desire to be members of a self‑activating team that works safely and drives quality on the production line. The ideal candidates for this role excel in a fast paced, rigorous environment and thrive in a team‑based work setting.

• Palletizing milk product; hand stacking or line pull of product as required.
• Printing and validating batch packets; operate scan gun and verify that data and documentation are accurate, reconciled, balanced, printed, collected, and passed on through appropriate channels.
• Work in close collaboration with the filler operator.
• Cross‑train on the UP filler processes and operations with the Supervisor and Filler Operator on shift.
• Track inventory of product packaged and packaging materials and pallets needed.
• Pull packaging materials for use.
• Safely use palletizer and shrink‑wrap machine.
• Safely operate a forklift or powered pallet jack; load product for transfer to Market Street Warehouse.
• Perform CIP sanitation of the cooler area; maintain organization of the work area; and carry out ongoing cleaning and preventative maintenance tasks in compliance with good manufacturing and warehouse practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 55 pounds frequently, between floor level and chest level.
• Must be able to push/pull stacks of product into position for handling.
• Must be able to continuously stand, walk, flex, stretch, twist and move throughout the area for 8 to 12 hours.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Ability to organize and analyze process problems.
• Experience training others in inventory and labelling processes.
• Basic arithmetic skills; able to read and understand instructions; and able to write legibly.
• Monitor and inspect inventory and reconcile receipt/distribution of product.
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Process.
