EHSS Technician

Photronics, Inc., is looking for a EHSS Technician to join our world class reticle manufacturing team in Boise, Idaho.

The EHSS Technician will perform a wide variety of tasks to support the environmental health, safety and security requirements of the facility and will be responsible for a variety of EHSS systems which may include testing, tracking, maintaining, recording and/or reporting related to those systems. The incumbents will also support overall facility security and perform training, relief and back-up for control room/building security.

• Control room site security audit, document management and recording
• Control room training and support, vendor management, relief/back-up control room
• Operations as needed

• Execute assigned tasks for the EHSS area, including, but not limited to, inspections, training, equipment maintenance, suppiy inventory, and system maintenance (Lenel, 3X Logic, Fire Works).
• Hazardous waste handling system maintenance, collection area maintenance, waste accumulation tracking and disposal, scheduling waste shipments and weekly waste inspections
• Emergency equipment testing, inspection, and recharge/restock/maintenance as needed (first aid stations, CPR, eyewash, emergency shower, fire extinguishers, etc.)
• Serve on Emergency Response Team
• Monthly PPE and ERT cart inspection and inventory management
• Employee Asset Management (TME) deployment, tracking and reporting
• EHS training plan administration, surveys, tracking and document control/recording
• Chemical usage tracking sent out daily

Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.

Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.

Requires 0-3 years of experience, and high school diploma or equivalent experience.
