Janitorial Cleaner

Job Overview

Join ABM Industries as a Janitorial Cleaner to maintain assigned areas using cleaning procedures and equipment. Clean buildings/facilities, dust furniture, move furniture, sweep, wash, service restrooms, and perform seasonal tasks.

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Notify manager of repairs or additions
• Maintain communication with clients and co‑workers
• Comply with safety, security, compliance and quality standards
• Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, equipment
• Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment
• Clean interior partition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Gather and empty trash
• Sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks
• Wipe and clean tabletops, chairs, and equipment in food areas
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No experience required; on‑the‑job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
