Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance & Housekeeping Technician to support the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our property. This position is responsible for a wide range of routine maintenance, seasonal tasks, and housekeeping duties throughout the building and grounds.

Schedule

Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 30‑minute lunch.

Recurring Weekly Maintenance Tasks
  • Service dumpsters and blue recycling bins
  • Maintain mutt mitt stations
  • Empty outside trash cans and elevator vestibules
  • Inspect and replace interior lights as needed
  • Perform visual inspections of mechanical rooms
  • Inspect generator (fuel/oil/battery levels)
  • Check chlorine levels in fountains
  • Keep pool/spa areas clean during pool season
Recurring Monthly Maintenance Tasks
  • Inspect and replace exterior lights
  • Service gray glass recycling bins
  • Sweep out trash and storage rooms
  • Perform exterior trash sweep
  • Conduct weed abatement
Biannual Maintenance Tasks
  • Replace HVAC air filters
  • Turn on/off wall heaters in stairwells
  • Fill or drain all three fountains
  • Light or shut off fireplaces in common areas
  • Perform evaporative cooling system maintenance (cooling tower)
Seasonal Outdoor Cleaning & Maintenance (As Needed)
  • Blow or sweep hardscape areas and building entryways
  • Clean outdoor furniture
  • Water flowerpots
  • Apply ice melt to walkways and entries
  • Remove snow/ice from building entries and paths
  • Basic landscaping (e.g., pulling weeds)
Housekeeping Responsibilities
  • Vacuum common areas
  • Dust wood chair rails, baseboards, and common area furniture
  • Clean glass surfaces (doors and windows)
  • Remove cobwebs in interior common areas
  • Sanitize gym equipment and restrooms
  • Handle miscellaneous housekeeping requests
  • Spot clean carpet stains
  • Complete assigned action items via Town Square
  • Practice and adhere to Keystone’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision
  • Any additional job duties as required by the supervisor
Qualification Requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with residents, co‑workers, and management in a public setting
  • Must be able to multitask and have strong organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of HVAC systems
  • Ability to communicate with residents, co‑workers, and management
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Ability to safely use common tools such as drill, shovel, hammer, screwdriver, etc.
  • Verifiable references
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a DMV record that is acceptable per our insurance carrier’s guidelines
  • Must have a personal vehicle to use for business purposes
Education And/or Experience
  • 2 or more years of experience working in a facilities or maintenance‑related role
  • High School Diploma required
