Night Custodian

Trace Inc. is a Military Contractor and has been in business since 1993. We are currently located on 19 different Military Bases throughout the nation.

In addition to being a Non-Profit Organization, we are also an Ability One Contractor. We specialize in hiring and training individuals with disabilities, including Veterans and Civilians. Please note a Disability is not required.

Salary: $17.20/Hour

Custodians are responsible for cleaning all areas of the commissary, including the Sales Floor, Warehouse, Office Areas, and Meat room. To ensure we meet quality standards, all tasks have been broken down and assigned a frequency:
Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual. Below is a brief description of the areas and types of cleaning expected:

• Vacuum all carpets.
• Dust window ledges.
• Clean window and door glass.
• Empty trash.
• Mop floors where applicable.
• Dust walls and fixtures up to 8ft high.
• Clean and sanitize countertops.
• Empty and clean refrigerators as required.
• Clean microwaves.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Strip/wax VCT when required.
• Burnish VCT tile.

• Attention to detail is a must.
• Dependability is essential.
• Comfortable around customers.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Chemical Safety Data Sheets.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• This job is on a Military Facility; a background investigation will be completed.
• If driving on base, a current Driver’s License, Insurance, and Registration are required.
