Family Law Attorney - Litigation Focused

Location:

Treasure Valley,  (In-Person) Compensation: $90,000 - $200,000 per year (DOE)

About the Role

Are you a litigator who thrives in the courtroom and cares deeply about making a difference in people's lives? Our client, a Treasure Valley practice, is seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join their team.

They specialize in high-stakes advocacy for clients navigating their most challenging life transitions. This is a litigation-heavy role with very limited transactional work, perfect for an attorney who is passionate about zealous representation and courtroom advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Advocacy:
  Represent clients in all family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and spousal support.
• Litigation:
  Manage the full litigation lifecycle, including drafting pleadings, motions, and appearing in court for hearings and trials.
• Client Care:
  Provide compassionate, clear communication and guidance to clients during difficult times.
• Case Management:
  Independently manage a diverse caseload from initial intake through final resolution.

Qualifications

• Education:
  
  Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensure:
  Licensed to practice law in Idaho (or the ability to obtain licensure shortly).
• Experience:
  
  Previous family law or litigation experience is preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with strong advocacy skills.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent written and oral communication; ability to balance empathy with professional boundaries.
