This senior-level role is ideal for a highly technical professional with experience in data automation, tool-building, and data structuring within a retail, grocery, or CPG environment. Supporting the Albertsons Schematics team, you will develop macros, queries, and automated tools that enable business teams to efficiently utilize data, independently manage technical work streams, collaborate with cross‑functional partners, and ensure high‑quality, accurate data outputs that support operational excellence.

• Extract, clean, organize, and structure large datasets from multiple systems.
• Build automated tools, macros, dashboards, and queries to streamline internal processes.
• Analyze business needs and recommend technical solutions related to data flow, automation, or tool design.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through tool enhancements or system improvements.
• Prioritize information and technical output to support the goals of clients, customers, and the company.
• Manage individual technical projects and timelines to ensure high‑quality, on‑time tool delivery.
• Communicate with internal partners to understand requirements and determine the best technical approach.
• Support schematic, assortment, and related teams by delivering ready‑to‑use structured data and tools.
• Maintain strong collaborative relationships across internal teams.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in a technical data role involving advanced Excel (macros), queries/automated data workflows, and dashboarding tools (Power BI preferred).
• Experience with retail, grocery, or CPG datasets is highly preferred but not required; technical skills are the top priority.

• Strong technical and analytical abilities, including macro development and dashboard creation.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; familiarity with Power BI or similar tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Strong organization, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
