Full Job Description

Required Experience:

• Five years’ in software programming and analysis
• Three years’ in programming EDI and/or ETL transactions

Required Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

(KSAs):

Knowledge of:

• HIPAA regulations and healthcare administration functions, including claims processing, eligibility verification and preauthorization.
• Relational databases, SQL and database access interfaces (ODBC, JDBC, ADO, )
• Software testing procedures
• Network and software architecture
• Build automation
• Version control software

Skills:

• Advanced experience and database-related development (reading and writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures, etc.)
• Advanced experience in developing applications to consume web services
• Intermediate experience reading and writing XML
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Continuous integration, a utomated build and deployment

Ability to:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodology
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
• X12 Healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transaction sets
• Experience with transactional and real-time based systems
• Knowledge of MQ technologies
