Cloud Security Engineer (Advisory Specialist) Position Overview
As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will primarily conduct advisory workshops aimed at improving the cloud security strategies of our clients. Your role involves helping organizations with young cloud security postures understand and implement security standards relevant to their critical business workloads.
Key Responsibilities- Lead workshops to assess and bolster the cloud security practices of customers.
- Provide expertise on Cloud Security Posture Assessment concepts.
- Guide alignment with industry standards including CIS, OWASP, NIST, and ISO 27001.
- Craft and deliver tailored recommendations and practical security implementations.
- Develop and present customized security strategies and roadmaps.
- Collaborate with clients to establish cloud security best practices and compliance goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud security trends and technologies.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud security.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Cloud Security Posture Assessment and relevant frameworks (CIS, OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to apply industry standards to various business workloads.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, apt at conveying complex security ideas to non-experts.
- Self-motivated with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently.
- Microsoft Certified:
Azure Security Engineer Associate - CISSP, CISM, or similar cloud security certifications
The base salary range for this position is $100,000- $125,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on work location, qualifications, skills, education, experience, and competencies.
