Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
About Our TeamThe CSOC is evolving to a fusion of analysis and engineering. Our team performs L2/L3 security analysis while building AI and automation that measurably reduces alert handling effort and increases detection fidelity. We focus on investigations, detection improvements, and productizing proven workflows into secure automations aligned to EIS governance and CSOC standards.
Position OverviewThis role combines advanced security analysis with engineering responsibilities. You will investigate high‑impact cases, improve detections and playbooks, and then convert repeatable analyst steps into scalable, secure automations such as copilot skills, orchestration runbooks, and enrichment services.
Responsibilities- Triage and investigate endpoint, email, DLP, identity, and cloud alerts; escape major incidents and drive root‑cause analysis.
- Execute CSOC XDR playbooks; identify scope, recommend containment/eradication, and document actions.
- Fine‑tune rules, hunts, and dashboards in SIEM/EDR to improve signal‑to‑noise and detection coverage.
- Design secure agentic automations and copilot experiences; build integrations/connectors, instrument telemetry pipelines, and codify detection logic.
- Author runbooks/playbooks and automation specs aligned with CSOC process documents; engage stakeholders to meet segmentation, encryption, and least‑privilege requirements.
- 5–8+ years in SOC/L2–L3 analysis or detection engineering.
- Hands‑on scripting experience (Python/Power Shell) and building integrations/orchestrations.
- Ability to convert analyst workflows into secure automations; familiarity with SARB/EIS processes.
- Experience with agentic patterns and governed AI deployments.
- Detection content development and hunt methodology.
- Familiarity with CSOC process documents and data classification in AI proof‑of‑concepts.
