Payroll Processor
McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Payroll Processor to join the team in the Boise, e. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of payroll experience, with a strong background in multi‑state payroll.
Responsibilities- Process in‑house payroll on a weekly basis.
- Prepare and submit Davis‑Bacon/prevailing wage certified payroll reports accurately and on time.
- Support the Payroll Manager with processing multi‑state payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Review and verify time sheets, job codes, and cost allocations for accuracy.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and deductions.
- Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with accounting and project management teams to support accurate job costing and reporting.
- Support payroll‑related audits and provide required documentation as needed.
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- In‑house payroll processing experience.
- Multi‑state payroll experience.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in a construction company environment, including job costing.
- Experience with Spectrum (preferred).
- Experience with Davis‑Bacon/prevailing wage payroll and reporting (preferred).
- Pay Range: $50,000 – $70,000 (DOE)
